In my life so far, I have had many experiences and taken many journeys. At this point in my journey, the best part is that I have found a niche in life where all of the things I love come together, and create a synergy which constantly fuels my enthusiasm for life.

I enjoy this work on all aspects with everything that I have, and even on the worst of days, I know that I am in the essence of my life's work and it suits me! I have found the most joy in some of these areas:

Teaching-

Experiencing the enthusiasm of a child's learning, and being witness to miraculous connections being made, is the equivalent of seeing the speed of light at work!

It is fascinating and invigorating! It fuels my desire to help students to learn more and more new things. It is so fulfilling to see children thrive in an environment which is encouraging them to challenge the norm, and to question the concrete.

The truthfulness of children, their literal nature and the way they see magical things so logically, is what continually amazes me. I have never been happier in any other job, and I enjoy knowing that the lives that teacher’s touch and the way that teachers reach children make a permanent impression on their lives. This is very rewarding!

There are no seven wonders of the world in the eyes of a child. There are seven million.

Education (Learning)-

I enjoy my time spent learning because I cherish the times in when I feel like all of my "spark plugs" are firing, and my mind is being challenged to the current max!

I think that the best way to see life is to see it as a place to learn more and be excited about learning. This enthusiasm avidly spills over into my classroom teaching as well!

Family -

As a mother of two (ages five and two) and a wife of one (Hee Hee), I have learned more than my fair share of lessons. I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors -camping, hiking, canoeing, bike riding, rollerblading, and roasting s'mores.

Indoors I love - snuggling, reading, drawing, creating and watching movies while eating popcorn!

I am constantly inspired by my family, our closeness, and our motivation to learn from each other.

I have learned that the family is the best place to learn about yourself, and about how to understand more about others.
